The Hello Sunshine! campaign was established by the Filipino and Vietnamese clubs at Piedmont Hills High School to help with the Yolanda/Haiyan Typhoon. The logo is a Filipino sun with a red sash (representing the Vietnam flag) emerging out of storm clouds.
We raised about $2,400 in coins alongside other high school in East San Jose, which was donated to the National Alliance for Filipino Concerns (NAFCON). In addition, tons of clothes were collected and sent to the Tanuan Leyte Association.
